WatchMy cover of Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s song, ‘This Guy’s In Love With You’. Inspired by the The Reels recorded version which appeared on their LP ‘Beautiful’ in 1982. This song also appeared on the Two Hands film soundtrack in 1999. This home movie version is shot in her backyard in North Richmond, Melbourne by collaborator Andras Fox.

Way back in 2008 (7? 9?), Sui Zhen put out a great little EP of catchy acoustic numbers. Fast forward to now (2012?) and suddenly there’s a whole album about to cut loose.

Sui Zhen's debut album is on its way
In the words of Mick Turner (Dirty Three) today on 3RRR, I have an album that’s been brewing for a while. I’m happy to announce that the cusp of the new year will see the first single from the album released, and the rest to fall into place for mid 2012.

WatchA little short I made with some footage shot whilst in Berlin last Summer (2010) on my friends Canon 7D + a Sony Handicam. Berlin was vastly different from Bahrain where I’d been visiting for six weeks prior. I wanted to capture some moments I had during that month.

The cockroaches come in through the window, that is left open day in, night out. It needs to be open to maintain the air flow in the small room. The room is not actually made for sleeping. An adequate use might be, storage or study. But a study with no intention of being used above the odd bill paying, phone company calling general customer service griping facility.
